MEMBERS The Rhythm and Blues Brothers Tribute Band Members Will Blues Vocals / Harmonica. “Never leave home without at least three harmonicas” is Will’s motto and he certainly sticks to it. As one half of the vocal team in the band when he isn’t playing blues harp, he’s letting rip with his voice. When he isn’t playing Will spends his time scouring ancient amazonian temples for the legendary, first ever harmonica. Steve BluesVocals, Tambourine Specialist.Steve Blues is our vocal powerhouse belting out the melodies in true raw, soul-man style. He boasts that he once headed off a charging Grizzly bear by giving an impromptu rendition of ‘Gimme Some Lovin’. He would also like to point out that he takes his tambourine playing very seriously and is willing to offer lessons, for the right price. Ant BluesBass Guitar / backing vocals. One of the founding members of The Rhythm and Blues Brothers, Ant takes bass playing to a new level. When he isn’t cruising around the country at the head of his own motorcycle gang one step ahead of the local law enforcement, Ant can be found pounding out some kicking bass riffs with the band. Tay BluesGuitarOne of the founders of the Rhythm and Blues Brothers, Tay, along with Ant, sat down one day and decided to form the band to end all bands. A band so good that every time they struck a power chord it would act like a mini big-bang and create a perfect new universe. In order to save up the money to do this they formed The Rhythm and Blues Brothers instead, now Tay strives to drive the band to greater and greater heights so that one day he can buy the world’s largest guitar amp and begin his quest in earnest. John BluesKeyboard and Organ Jon spent his childhood locked in a cupboard under the stairs with only a Bontempi wind organ for company, although this has left him with very little grasp of the English language he makes his feelings known eloquently through his mastery of the keyboard. From Bach to Bon Jovi there isn’t a musical style that can evade Jon’s skillful fingers, and since The Rhythm and Blues Brothers found him on that fateful day when clearing out the cupboard under the stairs he hasn’t looked back. Simon BluesDrumsThe ice man, cooler than cool, don’t get between this man and his drums because he lives to hit things with sticks. Raised amongst the nomadic tribes of Outer Mongolia, Simon studied the ancient art of communicating over vast distances by beating out messages on goat-skin drums. The Rhythm and Blues Brothers discovered Simon on one of their Russian tours and took him under their wing, giving him free rein to lay down his phatback rhythms with the band, although we insisted he no longer used goat-skin drums.
